A Native American owned commercial contractor in Phoenix, AZ needed a venue to display its years of experience and breadth of services. The organization approached WPM requesting complete development assistance with building their first website. The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce tasked WPM with upgrading its Member-to-Member discount program. Restricted by its current long term contract with an underperforming service provider, the CoC asked WPM to find a way around having to redesign the entire website. The decision was made to convert the current 30-page PDF document of approximately 350 member discount listings to a database-driven, dynamically generated Web application. WPM, using its extensive Object Oriented code library was able to create this application and host it on WPM servers.

The new application allows members to enter and update their own discounts as well as track the number of times the discount was viewed by other members. The Chamber was able to reduce the hands-on labor of maintaining the list by 80%, while increasing overall control of the program via a user-friendly, password-protected management tool. Through one click, an administrator can approve or remove any member listing. They can also track overall participation as well as individual account performance.
