Brighton
Collections, a multi-store franchise of the very popular Brighton
women's apparel manufacturer, needed a way to promote local
sales of their 400+ products. The manufacturer restricted
the use of any e-commerce, however the franchisee didn't have
room in their boutique stores for all 400+ products. WPM designed
a Product Management (PM) system so Brighton Collections could
display the complete product line on their website without
having to carry a complete inventory. Today's Brighton Collections
site, is a PHP, MySQL-driven, dynamic site with products that
are quickly and easily updated at no additional expense to
the franchisee.
Because of the dynamic nature of the site, WPM was
also able to add a Wish List to the Brighton Collections website
that even the corporate site (being flat HTML) wasn't able
to emulate. This Wish List helps to create customer
loyalty, not only in the Southern California area, but throughout
the US, as it now has Brighton customers from 20 different
states listed as loyal customers; a number that is growing
daily. One of the key advantages to the franchisees site from
the beginning was the image driven navigation and the clear
path to desired products. On every product page there is a
message from the owner encouraging the customer to call the
Toll Free number for help or to order. Each product page also
has a reminder to add the product to the customers Wish List.
This ultimately encourages sales and grows Brighton Collections'
customer base since each Wish List account is encouraged to
email their list to a friends and family.
